You KNOW it's awake! Now, a unique glassbreak with Microphone Supervision! Don't ever be surprised again by a detector with a hearing problem. Vitron's LED will alert you if it doesn't hear a sound for over 24 hours. But when Vitron's omnidirectional microphone picks up a sound again, the LED will re-set itself automatically.
What Vitron does with sound is also special. First, Vitron continuously samples the environment at 40,000 times per second. Then, its microprocessor analyzes both low and high frequencies against 30 specific sound patterns. Vitron is so intellegent, it knows if a window was broken from the outside (an alarm condition) or from the inside (not an alarm condition).

Unique Testing Features:
The beauty of VITRON lies in its easy testing capabilities.
By using environmental sounds, an automatic and ongoing
self-test is performed by showing a flicker of the LED. In case
of a dead microphone, VITRON's LED will blink continuously.
Additionally, VITRON has a unique Tester. Audible sounds
prompt a remote trigger of its Test Mode, eliminating the bother
of opening and adjusting VITRON for testing purposes. This
sophisticated Tester has three different output levels for testing
the full range of existing glass types.
